Named People magazine’s “Hero Among Us” on CNN’s All Star Hero Tribute, Thanksgiving night, 2008, after bringing a young boy from Zimbabwe needing complex surgery after a land mine destroyed his lower face. She holds a Master’s degree from Pepperdine University and was named Distinguished Alumna of The Year, 2009.

I have completed a number of missions with Operation Smile and Project Outreach, and I currently works as a pediatric anesthesia educator with Operation Smile.
